How To Set Up A Tropical Fish Aquarium Find Out Where To Get The Most Complete Information By: John Harris I have been a tropical fish enthusiast for over 20 years. I have had fish aquariums in numerous shapes and sizes for as long as I can remember. To me they can be works of art and bring something special to any room in the house. I have worked my way up from my first 15 gallon aquarium to the 75 gallon aquarium I currently have. I would not consider myself an expert just an average guy who enjoys this as a hobby. I still learn new things by talking with other fish people as well as always reading any information I can find. And that is what led me to write this article. I wanted to let people know where to find two of the best resources I have found on aquariums. I am always looking for new design ideas about how to set up an aquarium, as well as reviews on what pumps, heaters, plants, rocks etc. are best to use. Not to mention the most fun part of this hobby and that is finding out information on all the different types of fish there are to choose from. Now I know a lot of people think that having an aquarium is a lot of trouble and even though they would really like to have one the just don't know where to start. Well that could not be further from the truth. I spend only about 3 to 4 hours a month on actual maintenance. The rest of the time I get to enjoy the beauty of my aquarium. But it wasn't always that way. In the begining I really didn't know what I was doing and made a lot of mistakes. Like the time I left the fish light on while I was away for a week and came back to a tank that looked like it was full of lime jello. Or the time I did a water change and within ten minutes all the fish in the tank were dead. I also went through a lot of fish because I wasn't sure which fish were compatible with each other or the right way to introduce them to the aquarium. Unfortunately, in most of the tropical fish stores the salespeople are not experts and don't really know that much. They are just there because it is a part time job. So I took it upon myself to try to find the most comprehensive information that encompassed everything there is to know about having a tropical fish aquarium. That's when I came across the two sites that I have listed below and that I now recommend to everyone. They are the most complete resources I have found. All the information you will need is in one place, organized so you can find the right information when you need it. They cover everything you can ever think of about having a beautiful tropical fish aquarium whether it's saltwater or freshwater. Here is an example of what they contain: But don't take my word for it. Check them both out for yourself. They both offer a money back guarantee if you are not completely happy with them so you have nothing to lose! These are the only books you will ever need about having your own tropical fish aquarium.
