How To Set Up A Tropical Fish Aquarium Find Out Where To Get The Most Complete Information By: John Harris I have been a tropical fish enthusiast for over 20 years. I have had fish aquariums in numerous shapes and sizes for as long as I can remember. To me they can be works of art and bring something special to any room in the house. I have worked my way up from my first 15 gallon aquarium to the 75 gallon aquarium I currently have. I would not consider myself an expert just an average guy who enjoys this as a hobby. Like the time I left the fish light on while I was away for a week and came back to a tank that looked like it was full of lime jello. Or the time I did a water change and within ten minutes all the fish in the tank were dead. I also went through a lot of fish because I wasn't sure which fish were compatible with each other or the right way to introduce them to the aquarium. Unfortunately, in most of the tropical fish stores the salespeople are not experts and don't really know that much. They are just there because it is a part time job.
